greeting from a very sad and miserable girl, who is me! i am back, just jumping on the front of laptop and force my self to post something, not that posting was unpleasant thing, but i have million things to do for my school. that's kinda sucks, right? this is also sucks because i have million things to tell you all.. i have the long list but i don't think i will be able to post all those until the end of the year. :'(

NOVEMBER is here just one month away from the most cheerful month DECEMBER. but let's celebrate November first.. while we can..

Holiday starts today! so here is the list things to do for my one week holiday:

1. watching all great movies all day long

2. making apple pie and cupcakes

3. hunting old romantic comedy and ballet movies in the store

4. blogging and tumblr-ing all day long

5. looking for a good pleating skirt

6. last but not the least, making my assignments. huh!

i hope there's enough time to do all these things. :-)

By the way, in the last few days this couple took my whole attention. I love them individually but i more even love it when they were together. I kept wondering why on earth they broke up in 2006? They are young, cute and perfect for each other. What else do they need? But i guess relationship took more than those things...

Welcoming September! My first post in September. Lovely! My birthday is coming soon! YAY!

Lately these are two things that really catch my eyes and catch my heart..

British film and Ballet. Honest!

I am very into British film lately, the accent made me keep watching the film although some film boring to death. But the accent, like honey in my ear.

Second, i am very into Ballet lately. Maybe this is because of The Black Swan film, i am beyond excited to watch the movie. But since the film is not released yet, so i need something else to vent my impatience. so i decided to watch other old ballet film.. and my first choice fell to Billy Elliot. And the film totally satisfy.

I can get the British accent and also The ballet part, not only that but the story also beautiful and touchy..

I will not talk about the film (save it for later) but here i got these beautiful editorial from Vogue September 2008.. and the editorial still related to Billy Elliot film, called Flights of fancy, features Caroline Tretini and the boys from Broadway version of Billy Elliot.

Lovely photos, i love the feathers, the crown, the smoke and Caroline jumping swirling around the editorial oh also the cute little boy with their ballet shoes. Beautiful!

Who's excited for Black Swan? i am! first time i heard about the movie i'm excited because i always waiting for another great film about ballet but then i heard Natalie Portman will be the star for the film as for that i'm beyond excited. The film is more dark than i thought but it looks real promising. And my friend who was join a ballet class also told me about a myths about the black swan, that in the ballet show when a girl picked to be a black swan some people believe that the girl can be very mean like the Odette in the real life. Believe it or not. So after heard the story i got very chilled and cannot wait to see the film.

I only like few of Natalie Portman movie but i adore her since forever. So here's the first poster and some official photos for Darren Aronofsky’s new film Black Swan, starring Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and Vincent Cassel.

One of my subject in college is Trend analysis, we have to learn about Trend in fashion world. What's in and what's out. And from analyzing few sources gladly i want to make an announcement that 50s style is BACK to the fashion world.

Another master piece from Nancy Meyer. For me, she's like the fairy god mother that bring happiness to me by all of her movie. I've been meant to post something about her but i'm gonna saved it for later. :-)

Father of The Bride is 1991 romantic comedy movie starring Steve Martin, Diane Keaton and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. This is the type of movie that can make me smile from the very beginning to end of the movie. I love everything about this movie.

The cast

Steve Martin - as the fierce father but in the same time also very childish. He doesn't want to lose his only daughter that about to get married

Diane Keaton - as the very wise mother. I kinda like her style in this film. straight hair, silk shirt with sweater and pearls. Slim skirt with turtle neck. And everything just in pastel colors. Elegant style in 90s.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley. I didn't know her before i watch the movie, but after i saw her, i simple love her. I could understand completely why his father couldn't let her go to get married. Big bright eyes and big adorable smile, curly hair and cute voice. She's totally perfect for the role.

Kierran Culkin - as the young brother of Annie.

George Newbern - Annie's fiance. Son from high-class family. Nice guy, good attitude and bright future.

The House or The Set

The holiday, It's complicated, The Parent trap, Something you've gotta give.. What the similarity of all these movie? 2 words. Nancy Meyer and BEAUTIFUL HOUSE.

Nancy Meyer always give inspiration to decor my house and my room. She definitely has a great taste on decorating.

For starter to keep me motivate to do some blogging and also sweeten my and your days, i changed my header. Took extra time and energy to make the header since i am not super at graphic design, adobe and stuff.. i am more hand-writing and patch-work person.. but in the end i hope my new header is good enough. :-)

So this is my header:

i think my new header is much reflect me than my previous header. That's why i called 'a little bit of me'. there are some component in my new header..

1. Audrey Hepburn, who is like my long-time role model. i never get enough of Audrey Hepburn. She's a master piece, she's a true beauty, she's awesome. what else could i say? She' perfect!

2. Eiffel tower - Paris- French. Oh a piece of heaven that drop in the earth. Lovely place. The place where i want to spend my entire life with my soulmate, the one.

3. Pink lipstick. I kinda obsessed with pink lipstick lately. Every time i used pink lipstick, it lighten up my mood and i felt one of the pretty women. :-)

4. Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice. hm, what can i say? Sometimes i wish my life would have the same stories as Elizabeth Bennet, with big hope that someday i will find my own Mr. Darcy.

5. The girl. Fashion.. fashion.. fashion.. that's all! fashion around me..

6.Flowery Headphone. Music is part of my life. Music lighten up my mood, music make me happy. Every time i used my headphone and listening to my favorite songs then i felt like the world is mine. Nothing can disturbed me. I'm in my safest place.

7. Flowers. Is there any women who does not like flowers? Tell me!

Nothing can really describe my feeling right now.. REALLY! if i can put every bit of my feeling in a recipe form then it will be:

BORN TO RULE.Camilla Belle as the face of Vera Wang Princess Perfume. i've seen these ads few years ago super like it at first sight. These ads kinda different than other ads that has Princess as the theme. First they choose Camilla Belle, who is not blonde, white-pale skin with big blue eyes. Vera Wang gives other type of princess. Second, the photos was not in some big white castle and white horses. And that's so refreshing, though i do love castle and white horse but sometimes it's kinda boring and stiff. The ads so natural, soft and fun.

I do love the ads, and the perfume also..

these ads also make me remember of the Cottingley fairies that i've post few months ago. Ah.. DO LOVE FAIRIES.

i've watched this movie before. at first not one of my favorite movie at all. i think it regretable. but then i watched again for the second time and LOVE IT! i think love at first sight don't appeal to me.. :D

my new favorite couple. Kristen Dunst and Orlando Blom. i wish that they were couple for real. they perfect for each other. i become obsessed with them.. :D

Kristen Dunst plays as Claire Colburn. a flight attendant. she's funny, quirky and very open-minded.

Red hat is her signature. i love how she wear it.

beautiful black dress with white line on it. simply love it.

i love Kristen's outfit in this movie. simple and so kristen..

and here.... Orlando bloom as Drew Baylor. Drew Baylor is failed shoe designer, he was in his darkest moment in his life and in the same time his father die.. and he has to come to Elizabeth town to take his father's body.. but surprisingly his trip turn his life become better..

his family. Susan Brandon plays as his mother..

and the journey Begin.. Claire gives Drew a map, with instructions and CDs, guiding him "home", with notes along the way to visit certain places. At each place he visits, he spreads some of his father's ashes. During the trip, Drew comes to terms with his father and begins to talk to him stating that they should have taken this trip together years ago. Finally, the directions come to a point where he is given two choices - to continue home or to finish the journey Claire laid out for him. Drew chooses to continue the journey....

And finally the last page of the map He is instructed to go to the "Second Largest Farmer's Market in The World" and locates a note telling him to "look for the girl with a red hat". After looking desperately for a few minutes, he finds Claire and kisses her.

October has come. A year pass like wind... the 10th month.. then without realized Christmas only 2 months away.

sometimes life is hard but when we passed day by day we realize that what ever happened in life, life is beautiful..

i'm really in the mood to post my activities today. because somehow today is just a lovely day.

in the morning i spent my day to prepare my cousin's birthday party.. i'm in charge to decorate the house. YAY! i blew 25 balloons all by my self, then make barrier that written "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!".

Then there's a beautiful rain. even the sky looks gloomy but it is also adorable in the same time..

i just finished reading Twenties Girl by Sophia Kinsella.

The story around a women Lara Lington who in her desperate time. When the spirit of Lara's great-aunt Sadie—a feisty, demanding girl with firm ideas about fashion, love, and the right way to dance—mysteriously appears, she has one last request: Lara must find a missing necklace that had been in Sadie's possession for more than seventy-five years, and Sadie cannot rest without it. Lara, on the other hand, has a number of ongoing distractions. Her best friend and business partner has run off to Goa, her start-up company is floundering, and she's just been dumped by the “perfect” man.

A story about finding love, courage, family, truth and friendship. I personally like this book. an easy and fun to read. this book gives me inspiration to know what style in 1920.

few days ago i went to a bookstore. i was planning to buy a cheesy romantic novel.. maybe from Meg Cabot or Sophia Kinsella. but these two book totally got my attention. Even in the end i bought Sophia Kinsella book Twenties Girl, but i surely will buy these two books later.

Vintage Paris Couture. This book is some kind Guide book to shopping in Paris. This book give you lots information about great vintage clothes shop in Paris.

" accessories : they are so important to well-dressed women."

the first line when i open this book really catch my attention, and make me want to know more. This book is (as you can see the title) THE DICTIONARY OF FASHION by Christian Dior. In here Dior gives you lots of tips about how to dress well. for example where you should put your brooches, how to dress simple. and more. i must have this book! :)

He's an English fashion Designer. He has lots of celebrity as his friends. Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Sienna Miller is few of his friends.

He always use some bright color and His design in between feminine and chic. that's what i love about Him. He can make a very bright color looked appropriate on a clothes.

Heidi Klum wore it in Runaway Project.

Mischa Barton loves this dress.

I love his boutique in London. His boutique has such vintage touch. i adore the wallpaper and the mirror.

For my planning and buying project at school i use his store as my inspiration. cool! thanks matthew. :)

i'm sorry i haven't post anything new lately. i have lots homework to do. everyday i use my laptop, but don't have enough time for do posting. bad hah? yes!

well i haven't tell you but i am a college student and choose fashion business as my major. i hope i will graduate soon. wish me luck.

right now i'm doing brand and store idea for planning and buying class. i am so excited. lots of ideas come across my mind, that i want to share you. but i will do it later. still lots to do.

hello everybody. it's monday already. yay! like i said before. monday is my favorite day of the week. because monday i have no class so it's the time for some refreshment. :D oh God i do really need holiday. i've been busy with my paper and homework. so there's no time for me to post anything. sorry.. i have few things in my mind that i want to share with you all, but i have no time for do that. busy busy busy. argh! but i will do it later. promise! :p
lately i think that i lack friends. i miss my friends, they're pretty busy them self with their school, so it's been long time since i hang out with them. i do miss them. i wanna feel the fun!!
oh God i need something to cheer me up! and i also think that i need to make new friends. i think i make a line with friends in college. i think i should be more open-minded. hope i will make more friends.

happy sunday everybody. today i wanna post about fairies. you know i love everything about fairies. the story, the tiny little creatures, all the name.. everything.. and when i opened one of my favorite blog, it tell a true fairy tale.. about THE COTTINGLEY FAIRIES. and then couldn't help my self googled the story, and amazed by it. This is the story :

In 1920 a series of photos of fairies captured the attention of the world. The photos had been taken by two young girls, the cousins Frances Griffith and Elsie Wright, while playing in the garden of Elsie's Cottingley village home. Photographic experts examined the pictures and declared them genuine. Spiritualists promoted them as proof of the existence of supernatural creatures, and despite criticism by skeptics, the pictures became among the most widely recognized photos in the world. It was only decades later, in the late 1970s, that the photos were definitively debunked.

well even later on the picture was debunked but still don't you amazed by the story? i adore the two little girl, they totally got the imagination of fairy. i wish that the photos were genuine!!!

Then i remember that i watched a movie when i was a child about fairies, i just know until now, that was the best fairy movie i have watched. i googled more and found that the film i watched is about the Cottingley Fairies. I think all of you should watch the movie. that's so good!

27 DRESSES.

ah i love this movie. this is one of my favorite movie ever. even some people called this movie cheesy, but still like it! i've watched this for 7 times, and never get bored! :D

i just love everything in this movie. i love the cast, the outfit, the weddings, the girl's best friend, and of course the story. you all should watch this. you will love Katherine Heigl and James Marsden.

Here's the synopsis :

Two things about Jane: she never says no to her friends (she's been a bridesmaid 27 times and selflessly plans friends' weddings), and she's in love with her boss, George, nurturing dreams of a lovely, romantic wedding of her own. happy new week everybody. today is monday. i think i will like monday. because i have no class for this semester. so monday is my refreshing day. :) for today, i've planned many activities with my mom.

today i plan to make cookies for my family. chocolate chip cookies to be exact. i just got the recipe from youtube (watchmojo). and so exciteeeeed to make the cookies. wish me luck guys.

then i planned to buy few dvd. out of dvd lately.

here's in my list : because is said so, transformers, the city, the holiday (i have one, but i need the better quality).. what else? oh i forgot the rest..

after that i will buy school supply. so excited!

my cupcake is too sweet

today i tried to make some cupcakes.. i think the cake is pretty good, the texture is soft and it baked nicely. but the icing is completely failed. the icing is too sweet and it too soft so it cant fit perfectly on top of the cake. i got the recipe from youtube. in the video it seems so easy but when i tried it's not as easy as it's looked. too bad.

i want my cupcakes looked like this, and taste good. .
